Who's behind Takato Games?
The Studio
Takato Games is an independent French studio dedicated to crafting narrative visual novels for a mature audience. Our ambition: creating interactive experiences where writing, characters, and player choice are at the heart of everything.
Founded in 2025, the studio was born from a simple belief — adult games deserve the same care, the same narrative standards, and the same production quality as any other game.
But the story started earlier. Summer Vacation began in 2021 as a personal passion project. It wouldn't be where it is today without the early and ongoing support of Jammy — who played a key role in bringing the game to an English-speaking audience — and SBBD, who joined along the way to share ideas and test every build before release.
Our Approach
We create mature content with responsibility. That means stories that treat their characters and their audience with respect — narratives that don't hide behind their adult content, but use it in service of authentic storytelling.
All our characters are fictional adults. We are committed to offering content that is transparent about its nature, accessible only to an appropriate audience, and crafted with genuine attention to quality writing and production.
